By popular demand, our winter trek to the Grotto is back! Indulge your senses with a memorable guided snowshoe expedition through Bruce Peninsula National Park to the famous Grotto.

 This adventure is rated moderate. An exhilerating 5 km journey for roughly 3.5 hours. Snowshoeing or hiking over uneven terrain with some slippery sections, cliff edge, some moderate descents and climbs.Where: Meet at Bruce Peninsula National Park, Cyprus Lake parking lot 1.
When: December 2025, January, February, March 2026
What to bring: Warm layered winter clothes and especially warm comfortable winter boots. A day pack with a water bottle or a thermos. Snacks and a packed lunch. Snowshoes if you have them. No snowshoes? No problem! EcoAdventures provides snowshoes, hiking poles, and ice cleats depending on the conditions.

- Entry to the Bruce Peninsula National Park (This fee is waived from December 12, 2025 - January 15, 2026 and then from June 19-September 7, 2026 through the Canada Strong Pass)
- Parking is not included. You will be required to pay per vehicle to the Bruce Peninsula National Park
