Scouting the Georgian Bay Shore

We pushed off in our canoe from the sandy beach on a bright day in mid-April. The bay we paddled into was bound on one side by towering cliffs, the other side by cobble beaches and leaning cedars. The clear, green-blue water of Georgian Bay was calm, barely rippled by cool winds out of the northeast. We, your EcoAdventure guides, were on a mission to scout out the big canoe portion of a multi-day adventure called Saugeen Sojourn.

The fat bikes have arrived!

Our Norco Bigfoot 2 fat bikes have finally arrived after a 1 1/2 year wait. We took them out on the trails for a test run – read more to check it out. We'll be running 4 season tours with our “new fleet”, starting with the Saugeen Sojourn.

Naagan, a Foraged Feast

We are thrilled to feature the food of acclaimed Chef Zach Keeshig as part of our Saugeen Sojourn multiday adventure!  Zach creates an entire experience with a multicourse Foraged Feast that fuses traditional Ojibwa cuisine with modern techniques and ingredients.

Creating the Saugeen Sojourn

This spring we are launching our first ever overnight program, a culmination of work that has spanned the last year. From our basecamp at Cape Croker Park, the program will combine our hiking, canoeing, outdoor escape room, stargazing, and biking adventures, with input from two local Anishinaabe guides.
